Traveling is higher education, and for me it was exciting to have been a part of 36 Nigerians who qualified for a 7 day all expense paid vacation in India and an experience of the short-stay offer in Dubai. One politician once said, matter of factly that 50% of Nigerians will never get to the international airport before they die. While the statement sounds irritating, it’s falls short of the real numbers. One of the reasons we are where we are is because our people don’t know better, and don’t demand for better. If you see countries like Dubai, you will know that we are almost indeed reduced as a country to a local government, but that’s not the story I want to share. I want to share the story of people, people like you and me, everyday people, who are living their dreams, and enjoying the time of their lives. Dare to dream, and dare to take the steps to make your dreams come true. We were all in India together, and took in the experience, let me take you to India via the eyes and experiences of those who journeyed.

(From Left to Right: Nma Nwaolekeme (single), Gladys Oghidi, Nancy Failla (US), Chinwe Chilaka, Temitope Akinyemi, Getrude Duru) These are ladies from all works of life, they didn’t have to step into any embassy to be in India… the company (Holidays and Cash) made it happen. This was a petrol station we stopped over at, on our way to Agra, where we saw Taj Mahal.
India is has some interesting statistics, they are more populous than we are by a wide margin – about 1.2billion. They have a lot of poor people and poor communities as well. Where they however beat us arms down, are in their medical facilities, in their policies relating to local manufacturing and power. Our visit to India took us to some of the most lovely spots in India, we dinned in Luxury and lodged in 5 Star Hotels, but once in a while, we came down in the parts of town that remind us of home. The 5hrs Journey to Agra was one of such.
(Left to Right: Ngozi Onyebueke (Mrs), Emeka Nwankwo) Interestingly Mrs Onyebueke was at the event with her husband with barely 3 months of being a distributor with Holidays and Cash. She attends Deeper Life Bible Church and has some beautiful children, her first daughter is almost done with school. Emeka Nwankwo is a Redeem Pastor, and a Professional Engineer that decided to fire his high paying job and boss to focus full time on Holidays and Cash. He’s having a swell time, in the bus enroute Agra, and is enjoying the opportunity to bond well with his children and live the life of his dreams.

(From top to Bottom, Left to Right: Mr. Chris Obianagha, Mrs Nkem Obianagha, Bishop Katung is covered by Sipho Njiva, Mrs. Momma Katung, Nkeiru Akwarandu and Mr. John Akwarandu, Busayo Akanro, Lola Faleye, Don Failla, Olaoluwa Daramola, Temitope, Omolola and Franca Olaiwola, Paul Chataway, (Daddy) Adebayo Akinyemi, Tuks Dabula and Christian Love. We all went shopping together, went to Taj Mahal, went to see a few palaces, their open market e.t.c. In Dubai we went for a boat cruise in the dark night, we went for a Desert Safari ( Jeep rides in the sands), we watched belly dancing together, drove motor bikes, rode camels and had a great time together.
